Mission Trips

If you are not personally able to go on a mission trip this year, you still have an opportunity to participate in missions by supporting others that have committed to go. There are a number of PPBC members who have committed to mission trips in the remainder of this year that covet your prayers and financial support as they seek to be obedient to the call to go and make disciples.

Lindsey Hunt– Chisiniau, Moldova (situated between Romania and the Ukraine); July 1 through August 7, 2008; teaching English in camps using the Precept Ministry Bible Studies. Sponsored by the IMB and the Baptist Student Union at Mississippi College.

Stephen Clark– Middle East; June 3 through July 2, 2008; teaching English and learning Arabic language in a predominately Muslim area. Sponsored by the IMB and the Baptist Student Union at Ole Miss.

Emily Gasson– China; May; teaching English as a second language in a college setting. Sponsored by the IMB and the Baptist Student Union at Ole Miss.

Chris McAlpin, Michael Gibbs and others– Russia in July

Don McCon, Judy Lowe, Dr. Albert, Annelise and Mary Linley– Ukraine

David and Cindy Williams- June 13- June 22, Romania- Gary Bowlin Evangelistic Association

Financial donations can be made to Park Place Baptist Church and designated to the trip that you would like to support. Please commit to pray for the safety of these teams as they travel, for God to prepare the hearts of those that will hear the gospel, for the families of those that will be traveling and for the missionaries that are already serving in those areas.
