Jason grew up in Houston, MS and moved to Jackson in 2000. After attending and serving in local churches, Jason realized that he had never completely given his life to the Lord. In the spring of 2015, Jason fully surrendered to Jesus Christ and was baptized.
In 1994, Jason graduated from Houston High School. He attended Delta State University and received a Bachelor of Science and Social Science. Jason continued his education at Arkansas State University where he received a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. He is also a graduate of the National Institute of School Leadership.
Jason has been in education for 20 years. He has been a classroom teacher, assistant football and baseball coach, head football and baseball coach, athletic director, and a principal. Jason has also been serving as pulpit supply for several churches across the state for the past 2-3 years. He has also taught Sunday School classes from college to senior adults, and is currently teaching an adult Sunday School class at Park Place. Jason enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Jason and Carrie are so grateful to the Lord for giving them this opportunity to serve the students and families through PPCA.
