Mission House Pantry
Church members are encouraged to help stock the mission house pantry with non-perishable food items for a missionary family coming in September. Items may be placed in the box located in the hallway behind the sanctuary. Let’s show our love and support for these missionaries returning to the states after serving abroad.

We need your help! There are several service opportunities at PPBC: VIP (baby suites area), New Member Ministry (welcoming team), and Media Ministry (running prompters and sound). Call the church office to sign up to serve or for more information click here.
Women Only - Prayer Partners
Please consider becoming a prayer partner (for women only) with one of the female offenders participating in the seminary program at Mississippi Correctional Institute for Women. Your willingness to pray and encourage a partner would be a huge part of her success on her journey. A sign-up sheet and guidelines are available at the welcome center.

Music Ministry Christmas Retreat
This year’s Christmas retreat is September 8-9. All choir members, instrumentalists, and anyone else interested in being a part of the music ministry should plan to attend. Sign up at the Welcome Center.
Domino Game Night
All senior adults are invited to domino game night Thursday, September 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Boatner Hall. Bring finger foods to share.
Widows Banquet
Attention Widows: The annual Widows’ Banquet is Sunday, September 10 at 5:00 p.m. in Boatner Hall. The deacons will be serving the widows during this special time. Widows will be contacted by their deacons in the weeks to come.
Senior Adult Monthly Fellowship Dinner
The senior adult monthly fellowship dinner is Thursday, September 14 at 6:30 p.m. The program is BTJ Trio, and the menu is chicken bowtie pasta, green beans, roll, & dessert. Pay $8 at the door. Sign up at the table near the elevator.

Student Bible Drill
Student Bible Drill will kick off in September! Bible Drill is an opportunity for students to spend concentrated time focused on hiding God’s Word in their hearts in a community of other teenagers. Renee Holm will be working with the students to help prepare them for the drills. Bible Drill for 3rd - 6th graders begins Sunday, September 17 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 225. Judy Hicks will be teaching the children how to develop their skills as they learn important truths from the Word of God.
Lunch Bunch Bus to French Camp
All senior adults are invited to participate in Lunch Bunch Bus to French Camp Tuesday, September 19. The group will depart from the church campus at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be at the Council House Restaurant and other sites will be visited. The cost is $10 plus your meal. Sign up at the table near the elevator.
Sunday School Teacher Appreciation Dinner and Equip Training Session
Sunday, October 1, 5pm. Park Place gives thanks to God and honors all our Sunday School teachers with a Teacher Appreciation Dinner with great food and some fun surprises. We will also be having a Sunday School Equip training session in order to better equip teachers for ministering to the entire church through the Sunday School class setting.
